Janette Mason, Artists In residence at The Exchange, has put together an exciting show taking classic songs from Aretha’s extensive catalogue,. She will be joined by Soul Singer extraordinaire Natasha Watts whose awards include Soul Survivors UK Soul Artist of the Year 2019. With a band of incredible musicians whose career highlights include performing with likes of Chaka Khan, Incognito, Beverly Knight and more, what’s not to enjoy. Expect to hear tunes from Aretha’s early days - “Natural Woman ” right up to the classic disco cuts of the 80s “Freeway” and “Jump To It”.
Natasha Watts Natasha Watts burst onto the UK Soul music scene back in 2009 with her first collaboration with Coolmillion with a track called ‘Show me’. This track was to become a firm favourite within the UK Soul music scene and subsequently set the foundations for Natasha’s success and journey in becoming a well-respected UK artist. Since then her collaborations with other artists including Incognito, Cool Million, and Omar have elevated her profile and expanded her reach to a global audience.
